Drexel Graduate Women in Science and Engineering

What is the mission of DGWiSE?

Our mission is uniquely focused on (1) expanding and enhancing the experiences of women, non-binary, and women identifying graduate students in Science and Engineering (2) improving the environment of women pursuing careers in science and engineering and (3) increasing the representation of women in science and engineering at all levels at Drexel University. DGWISE provides an opportunity for members of the Drexel University graduate student body to become involved in fostering this community through positions in the organization’s leadership, volunteer opportunities through our outreach activities, and engagement with others in the community in all our events. Our goal is to provide our members with the tools they need to empower and diversify representation in STEM through hosting networking events, career development and personal development workshops, and providing opportunities for outreach and community engagement.
